The Advitech Group recently hosted a stand at the NSW Mining Health, Safety, Environment and Community conference in the Hunter Valley.
We launched Intercepta – the latest product from Advitech Group member Acubis Technologies. Intercepta Smart Radar Camera offers mine sites the ability to monitor compliance with road rules on their site with a mobile, wireless, radar camera system.
To demonstrate the Intercepta system, we monitored the speed of traffic entering the conference venue and determined how many drivers complied with the site speed limit of 20km/hr.
Visitors to our stand were asked to guess the percentage of drivers who complied, and closest guess came from Doug Stewart, who took home a brand new set of golf clubs. Congratulations Doug! Intercepta determined that 27% of drivers complied with the venue’s speed limit of 20km/hr during the two-day conference.
