Larry Platt, The Advitech Group’s Executive Chairman, was recently recognised by the University of Newcastle for his commitment to innovation over many years.
Larry was the recipient of the 2015 Leonard Award for Innovation, acknowledging his position as a local community leader who supports and promotes innovation in the Hunter.
Larry received the award at the Excellence in Innovation lunch at Merewether Surf House in November 2015. He also took part in a discussion panel along with four University researchers who received ‘Excellence in Innovation’ awards for their world class research and innovative developments. Congratulations to each of the award recipients and thank you to the University for running this annual event.
