As COVID-19 continues to impact our communities, The Advitech Group continues to monitor the situation and seek solutions that ensure the protection and safety of our people, clients, and communities we live in.
Internally we have taken the following measures to play our part in reducing the spread of COVID-19:
- Reduce exposure: A COVID-19 business continuity plan has been prepared should a staff member test positive to COVID-19. Staff are observing strict isolation procedures when displaying cold or flu-like symptoms. Social distancing has also been rolled out across the organisation through the cancellation of event participation and travel for both domestic and international needs.
- Continued support: Through a combination of our cloud-based systems and VPN access we are able to work from anywhere and continue delivering projects to all of our customers. We are making use of online meetings and teleconferences where possible, but are still doing essential site visits and fieldwork as needed. If we do need to visit your site, we are committed to following your COVID-19 procedures, so please be sure to let us know what you need from us.
Our offices remain open at this stage, and we are following strict hygiene procedures. More and more of our staff are working from home and this is likely to increase over the coming days, but this will not impact on our service delivery.
If you need to call us, our friendly reception staff will take your call as always. They can direct your call through to anyone inside or outside the office.
We will continue to monitor our approach in line with government directives.
