Advitech is seeking an Environmental Planner with extensive knowledge of NSW planning and environment legislation and demonstrated consulting experience. The role will suit a motivated professional with effective communication and resolution skills to obtain development consent and or project approval.

Responsibilities
- Providing technical and scientific environmental and planning advice
- Contributing to tenders and proposals, including technical scopes and cost estimates
- Obtaining development consent and or project approvals
- Preparing and submitting specialist reports
About You
To be successful in this role, you will meet the following essential criteria:
- Degree qualification in environmental science, planning or related discipline
- Experience undertaking or leading the development of REFs or DAs involving EISs, SOEEs or EAs
- Demonstrated experience in the efficient preparation, submission and management of DAs including liaison with consent authorities and effective resolution skills
- Experience in statutory planning or amendments to LEPs, such as Planning Proposals for rezoning applications, and knowledge in the preparation of Masterplans or Development Control Plans
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Current drivers’ licence with ability and willingness to undertake field work as required
Environment Planners meeting the following desirable criteria will be considered favourably:
- Experience with working on Transport for NSW reports, particularly PEIs and REFs
- Established client base throughout the planning development industry
- Senior First Aid Certificate
- Workcover WHS green/white card
