Acubis is looking for a Mine Site Technician, Electrician or Auto electrician, experienced in installing ICT equipment on draglines, shovels and excavators or similar. A sound understanding of network architecture, design and configuration would be highly regarded. If you have experience working on field equipment and have excellent knowledge of communication technologies, this role may be for you.

Responsibilities
- IP Network design and configuration
- Network fault identification and repair
- Knowledge and understanding of network monitoring tools such as Solarwinds
- Repair, maintain and install Radio communication and CCTV systems
- Install, configure, commission and support CCTV and communications equipment
- Conduct RF Active and Passive site surveys, providing in-depth analysis
- Respond to equipment issues and problem solve to achieve positive outcomes in a timely manner
- Work well in a team environment
- Provide a high level of customer service
- Demonstrate a strong commitment towards safe work practices
About You
To be successful in this role, you will meet the following essential criteria:
- Cert III or IV in Telecommunications (or equivalent), or Qualified Electrician or Auto Electrician
- CCNA Certification
- ACMA OPEN License (including structured, coaxial, optic fibre endorsements)
- Working at Heights (high risk license with EWP over 11m)
- Initial response first aid certificate (or higher)
- Valid Australian manual C class drivers licence
- Wireless Mesh install and maintenance especially in ABB Wireless TropOS and Rajant Wireless
- 2-way digital radio experience (install and maintenance) Tetra, DMR, P25
